Don't let the SimGolf thing fool you, this is not that SimGolf. It is actually a strategy game in which you manage a golf resort, much like SimCity. It is being developed by Firaxis. From the screenshots I saw the interface looked like that of The Sims.

I heard that Sid Meier was going to be chatting at SimChat (you can access it from thesims.com or simcity.com), a chatroom of which I am a frequent visitor (I am whyareyoureadingmyscreenname). Even the casualist of casual gamers should know who Sid Meier is, the legendary programmer behind anything that has the words Sid Meier in it's title, most notably the Civilization series.
